Dr. Meira Stepansky Scheiner is a general and cosmetic dentist in practice since 2008.  Her focus is providing patients with aesthetically pleasing treatment in a comfortable environment.  She has a warm demeaner and takes pride in developing relationships with her patients.  She is a family dentist who is comfortable treating patients of all ages, and takes a conservative minimally invasive approach to dentistry.  Dr. Scheiner has taken extensive continuing education in the areas of restorative, cosmetic, nerve treatment, Invisalign, and administration of nitrous oxide sedation.

Dr. Scheiner received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Following her four years in dental school, Dr. Scheiner completed a residency in Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey where she focused on general and cosmetic dentistry.  Dr. Scheiner then went on to complete a second residency from St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Patterson, New Jersey where she focused on emergency dental care along with head and neck trauma.  During her years in dental school and residency, Dr. Scheiner volunteered in several community dental clinics providing care to patients of diverse backgrounds and of all ages.

Currently, Dr. Scheiner resided in Connecticut with her family.  When she’s not treating her patients, you can find her spending time with her sweet children, taking a yoga class, or enjoying an evening out with her husband at the New York Philharmonic.
